FABRIC, THREAD and SEWING TOOLS can be purchased in the studio  FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE!
Offering drop-in or reserved, pay-by-the-hour access to use the studio. If you have prior sewing experience and a project you’d like to start, finish, or work on, come in and sew! For your first visit, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your session so we can provide a free orientation around the studio and sign a liability waiver. If you do not have any experience on a sewing machine, sign up for machine basics sewing classes. 

Please keep in mind that the studio's machines, tools and equipment are for your use as well as for others. Therefore we ensure that tools and equipment remain in good working order and are returned in the same condition as before use. Damage fees may be accessed or studio access may be limited due to unsafe or inappropriate use. Please refer to full terms and policies upon orientation.

RATES

Open studio time is meant for full sew-on-your-own access. An instructor will be on site at all times to oversee the proper use of equipment and may be available for some questions.

  • You must be oriented on the policies (see right).
  • You must first have either taken a sewing machine basics class or demonstrate knowledge of sewing machine use.
  • To use the serger, you first must complete the 'Serger Class' or demonstrate equivalent knowledge.
POLICIES
  • A one time Policies and Liability Forms must be signed before studio use or classes.
  • Sign in when you arrive and sign out when you leave.
  • You must be 16 years old or older to use the studio independently.
  • If it is your first visit, please arrive 15 minutes early for an orientation and to complete forms.
  • Please show consideration of the shared work spaces and handle all equipment with care. Report any malfunctions or oddities to the instructor on site.
  • Open studio time is self-guided, therefore we cannot provide one-on-one sewing lessons at this rate. If you would like to learn how to use a machine or a new sewing technique or have assistance with a project, please consider taking one of our classes or workshops.
